Website privacy notice.

How we process personal data when you visit this website or write to us. Information under Articles 13 and 14 GDPR.

Effective date: set on publication · Draft pending counsel review

1. Who we are and what this notice covers

PRONTO VENTURES S.R.L. ("Pronto", "we" or "us"), Corso Castelfidardo 22, 10129 Torino (TO), Italy, Tax Code and Companies Register number 13401250017, is the controller for personal data processed through this website and direct business enquiries to Pronto. Contact privacy@prontoventures.vc for privacy questions or rights requests.

This website does not collect startup applications, provide a newsletter subscription form or embed external forms, calendars, videos or social feeds. Applications submitted through the New Altitude website are covered by its separate Application Privacy Notice. Pronto operates that process on New Altitude's behalf under the arrangements described there.

2. Personal data and sources

When you visit, hosting and security systems may process technical data such as IP address, browser and device information, requested pages, timestamps and security logs. When you email us, we receive your contact details, professional role, message, attachments and subsequent correspondence. We receive this information from you or from people contacting us on your organisation's behalf. Please avoid providing unnecessary sensitive personal data or third-party information you are not authorised to share.

3. Purposes and legal bases

We use technical data to deliver and secure the website and prevent misuse, on the basis of our legitimate interests in maintaining a reliable and secure business website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). We handle enquiries and maintain relevant business correspondence on the basis of our legitimate interests in responding to contacts and managing business relationships. Where an individual requests steps towards a contract to which that individual will be party, Article 6(1)(b) applies. We process data to comply with applicable legal obligations under Article 6(1)(c) and, where necessary, protect legal claims on the basis of legitimate interests.

Providing information by email is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond meaningfully without the relevant contact and enquiry details. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

4. Recipients and service providers

Access is limited to authorised Pronto personnel and advisers who need the information for the relevant purpose. We use Netlify for website hosting and Google Workspace for business email and calendar services. We may disclose relevant information to professional advisers, authorities or courts where required by law or necessary for legal protection. Providers' contractual roles and safeguards apply to the services they deliver. Following a link to another website is subject to that website's own privacy information.

5. International processing

Our personnel and external application reviewers currently access data from within the European Economic Area. However, technology providers and their subprocessors may process personal data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Where applicable, transfers must be covered by an appropriate mechanism, such as an applicable adequacy decision or European Commission Standard Contractual Clauses, together with supplementary measures where required. Contact privacy@prontoventures.vc for information about the safeguards relevant to your data.

6. Retention

Ordinary business enquiries are normally retained for up to 24 months after the last substantive exchange, unless an ongoing relationship requires continued processing. Contractual, accounting or legal-claims records may be retained for the applicable statutory or necessary claims period. Technical logs are kept only for the period required for operation and security and are subject to provider-specific retention settings. Longer retention may be necessary to investigate a security incident or comply with law. We review information and delete or anonymise it when no longer needed.

7. Your rights

Subject to the conditions of the GDPR, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and portability where applicable. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests, on grounds relating to your particular situation. Contact privacy@prontoventures.vc. We normally respond within one month; lawful extensions and proportionate identity checks may apply. You may complain to the Italian supervisory authority, Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, at www.garanteprivacy.it, or another competent supervisory authority.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use advertising, profiling or analytics tools on this website. Only technologies strictly necessary to deliver or secure the website may be used. Any such technical cookies do not require consent. If non-essential tracking is introduced, we will update this notice and obtain consent where required before activating it. Browser controls can be used to manage stored cookies; restricting necessary technologies may affect functionality.

9. Automated decisions and security

We do not use this website to make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects on individuals. We apply proportionate technical and organisational safeguards. No transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

10. Updates

We may update this notice to reflect changes in our activities or legal obligations. The current effective date will appear above.
